Jon Griffin

Passion is a word that gets tossed around a lot in any given bio section — but just try to confine an 11-year-old kid to one word.  You can’t.  And that’s how long Jon has been full of passion for sound.  From the age of 11 when he received his first tape machine and super 8 camera, it was his vision to one day build a place to record and create and to have a place for others to feel comfortable expressing.  It kind of goes like this…

So that 11-year-old kid is now Music/Sound/Content Producer and Engineer Jon Griffin, owner of Lunazen, LLC.  Jon is a dedicated producer with over three decades of experience in audio recording, songwriting, post-production, and sound design.  He has produced content, designed sound and written music for corporate media, video games, television shows, commercials, films, and trailers.  Jon has also produced, engineered and mixed numerous records and songs for both labels and independent artists.  

With an early interest in sound and philosophy, Jon has traveled the globe since the age of 13 – studying cultures, eagerly meeting people and listening to the sounds of the planet.  From the bustling streets of New York City to the sacred hums of Nepal, Jon’s inspiration is never static or expected.

When Jon isn’t using his ears to make the best sounding stuff around…you might find him at a concert hearing some new great music, on a yoga mat, on an airplane to a foreign land, eating at a yummy local restaurant or hiking the trails.
